No. bttlxeForum 2.0 has been redesigned from the ground up as an entirely new product. Version 1.0 was a set of basic forum scripts that required a lot of effort to install and integrate completely with your own web sites, bttlxeForum 2.0 is a drop-in, fully customisable online forum solution.

Does this version come with instructions?

Yes. A simple to use step-by-step software-based installer is supplied that allows you to configure and install the forum software to both live and testing environments. If chosen, the installer generates a database creation script that will automatically set up database for you and make any required changes to the installation.

If you want to make changes to the software after you've gone live then there are comprehensive step-by-step administration scripts that can be accessed by permitted users. These scripts allow you to configure everything from the name and appearance of your forums through to the members and forums themselves.
